The sustainable and functional design of the Spanish Pavilion by Pulgon Diseno Architects resides in Venlo, Netherlands. The organic nature of this building uses recyclable materials like crates and natural wood to create a multipurpose building promoting environmental friendly architectural practices. The fluid nature of the structure creates a building that seems more like a part of the landscape rather than its own separate entity. At night, glowing indoor lights shine through mixture of textures and panels of the pavilion’s walls. Inside, a tall and elegantly curved ceiling ascends upwards. Vibrant splashes of color and curving gestures work together to complete this distinctive contemporary design. [via decoist] View in gallery View in gallery View in gallery
